The European Society of Hypertension’s (ESH) essential goal is to offer a stable and arranged European platform for scientific change in the sphere of hypertension, whereas sustaining impartiality and avoiding any perceived bias in direction of specific manufacturers or merchandise. The Society acknowledges the importance of correct blood strain measurement and validated blood stress monitoring devices for healthcare, but doesn't itself conduct a validation process for specific brands or models. As a scientific organization, ESH doesn't participate in validation research for individual blood pressure displays, but strongly helps the STRIDE BP initiative, which serves as a reliable resource for researchers, clinicians and patients to establish clinically validated blood pressure screens. The ESH BPM & CVV Working Group has published several ESH Statements. In the attempt to enhance doctor-patient interaction and to increase consciousness on hypertension and its related dangers the European Society of Hypertension, in collaboration with the Italian Society of Hypertension, has printed a dedicated APP for smartphones and tablets.
