For the first time ever, WHO Member States have supported the creation of world targets for diabetes, as part of recommendations to strengthen and monitor diabetes responses inside national noncommunicable disease (NCD) programmes. 100% of people with sort 1 diabetes have entry to reasonably priced insulin and blood glucose self-monitoring.
